Yogurt & Honey Mask

Here’s a refreshing mask to give your skin a natural glow. The mask is made with honey and yogurt. Why these two ingredients? Well let me explain the benefits of both honey and yogurt. Let’s begin with yogurt. Yogurt contain lactic acid and alpha hydroxy  these two agents that are naturally found in yogurt can help smooth rough dry skin and help with pre mature aging, fine lines, wrinkles and age spots. Yogurt con also help with closing large pores giving your skin a youthful appearance and glow. Not only does yogurt do all of this but it also has a mild bleaching effect on the skin when used overtime it can  help with acne scars, sunspots and having an overall even skin tone. Let me talk a little about acne and yogurt. Yogurt has anti bacterial, anti fungal and zinc. Zinc is a high content in yogurt, why is zinc important for your face?  Zinc aids in healing acne and blemishes overtime. So you may be saying to yourself what’s the best yogurt to use for this face mask? The best yogurt to use for this mask is plain yogurt nothing flavored just plain whole milk or skim milk yogurt it’s up to you to choose with one you would like to use.

Now it’s time to talk about honey, honey has strong anti- bacterial and anti- inflammatory properties. Honey has been used for thousands of years by many civilizations for a ton of different health benefits. Honey contains natural amino acids which help the skin retain moisture, it has properties to reverse damage done to your skin by free radicals it also does not dry out your skin. Just like yogurt honey has lightening agents when used overtime. The large amounts of natural vitamins found in honey aid in the regeneration of your skin. What is the best honey to use for this face mask? The answer is raw honey, raw honey is the best because it hasn’t been tampered with it has no added agents to it, but if you can’t find raw honey use any honey that is available to you;  you will still get results with other honeys.
